My current portfolio is comprised of reduction and relief prints made through the woodblock printmaking process. The prints are based on previous travel experiences as well as my passion for surrealism and music.
First Images: "Drinking Pink Rabbits" and "Am I the one you think about?" (Inspiration: "Pink Rabbits" by The National) - Relief print
- Includes variations in background/paper (white, gray, or funky paper background) and subject's shirt color (black, blue)
----------------
Second Image: Untitled" (for now) (Inspiration: John Darnielle from The Mountain Goats" - Reduction print (only 6 in existence)
- Current image is of a misprint. There are additional prints that have better printed layers/solid colors
---------------
Third Image: "Welcome to Dublin" (Inspiration: When I went to Dublin, Ireland in the summer of 2022, the sheer number of seagulls roaming the city was a greeting in itself)
- Includes variations on white and gray paper
----------------
Fourth Image: "The juggler from the 'burgh" (Inspiration: In Pittsburgh, the Bloomfield-Garfield neighborhood hosts "First Friday" events during the summer/fall to showcase the various artists and creatives in the area. During a First Friday, my sister and I came across a juggler on the sidewalk) - Reduction print (only 4 in existence)
